MWISD is automatically installing the Cipafilter extension on Chrome devices.  BUT, you must associate your computer ID with the extension.  Once done, this setting will follow you to any Chromebook / Chromebox.

The first thing you want to do is look at the upper right corner of your Chrome browser.
Click on this icon.

You will now see a screen that tells you that there are no authentication credentials available. Click on the settings button in the bottom right.

After clicking on settings, you will have a new tab open up with some fields. The first field is where you will input your username.

*Note* - You must use your MWISD network ID credentials here, as the Cipafilter Authenticator does not work with Google credentials.  Example: johnsmith and not johnsmith@mwisd.org.

The second and third fields are where you will input your password and then re-confirm the password. Under here, you will find a checkbox that will save your username and password. Click on it. The last thing you need to do here is click on continue.

If everything worked properly, you will see this window which confirms that you have logged in correctly. You may now close the tab.

You can also verify that your username and password are correct by looking at the upper right corner and seeing the status of the icon. If the icon is not green, you will need to contact your system administrator for support.
